What We do
We are AhavahDARE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing lifetime service and resources to Black men who are truly seeking to regain their position in society after incarceration. Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, our mission is to empower these individuals through comprehensive support and community integration.
At AhavahDARE, we believe in the power of second chances. We provide access to essential life necessities, including housing, employment opportunities, education, and mental health support. Our holistic approach addresses the various challenges faced by formerly incarcerated men, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to successfully navigate and overcome life's obstacles.
Our organization thrives through the generous support of local small businesses, government grants, and a network of dedicated foundations. Together, we work to create sustainable change and uplift the lives of those we serve, fostering a community of hope, resilience, and transformation.

Evolution of Men: Second Chances Fashion is our first clothes drive and fashion show event aimed at empowering Black men who are former inmates. This event will showcase stylish, donated clothing and celebrate the transformative power of second chances. We are seeking enthusiastic and confident individuals to volunteer as fashion show models.
